Possible New PSP???

There has been insider buzz circulating about the new possible redesign of the PSP. Although it is mostly an aesthetic modification (it will be featuring the same hardware as the previous generation) the look and feel seems promising. The new cellphone-like devise will include a sliding screen for a much more compact form factor. I'm not much of a video-gamer but I think Sony is definitely taking a step in the right direction with this concept. I wonder what Nintendo's DS has brewing for competition.
