Although many designers opt for staying within a chosen color palette and design (ahem, Balmain), Christian Lacroix decided to be an exception and showed the house's versatility at his past NYC Spring 2009 show. The above are my favorite looks of the evening and the most proper representation of Lacroix's variety genius. Although they both are impeccably well made, my favorite is the second creation. The way the striking colors bleed into one another reminds me of a watercolor. Exquisitely legit!
