I knew something was geniously familiar!

Right after doing the piece on Noir earlier, I knew that something from it looked quite familiar. And after letting it linger for a bit I realized that its genius correlated with that of Givenchy's! Well, kinda. It was the pairing of black and gold hardware that hit a familiar chord with me- the same duo that reigned supreme at the Givenchy Haute Couture A/W 2010 catwalk during Paris Fashion Week this past year.
Givenchy had the illest, boldest, and most amazing accessory game of all the shows. Hands down. The assemblage of gilded fixtures dripping atop monochromatic ensembles was pure and utter genius!

Roberto Tisci is one amazing designer and I am deep-seatedly appreciative of what he has done with Givenchy- his designs are incredibly fascinating, empowering, and refreshingly unique.
