Hundreds of thousands feared dead and 3 million left affected in Haiti:

As many of you are already aware, Haiti has been tragically struck by a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake- the biggest and disastruous the country has experienced in nearly 2 centuries. Estimates of the death toll are at over 100,000 people, including both local citizens and foreigners, and the number of those left homeless or ill-fattily affected is insurmountable. The country's captial city of Port au Prince has been largely destroyed as it sadly served as the epicenter of the fatal quake. This is completely distressing as all the needed facilities have been left in rubble- such as the Presidential Palace, The Haitian Parliament Building, The World Bank building, Doctors Without Borders centers, and countless major hospitals.  Fortunately and rightfully so, many nations have geared up to send massive contributions to the already ranked "poorest country in the Western hemisphere" that is the Republic of Haiti. My heart goes out to all the victims, survivors, and anyone affected by this unimaginably devastating catastrophe and let us all pray for the reconstruction of this country.

I strongly urge you all to do your part to help out our fellow brothers and sisters of this world in any way you can.

Here's a link with a list of organizations that you can contribute to:
Also for those of us that are in the US, you can also text the word "YELE" to 501501 to donate $5 (it will be billed to your phone bill) to the relief effort. You can also head to Yele.org for more info.

It doesn't matter how you help out, I just hope you do.
God bless.
