By transforming a retired Liverpool double decker into a mobile art gallery those who don't have immediate access to cultural insititutions are now able to get their artsyfartsy on. The first exhibition on the bus is a collection of works by Sir Peter Blake (best known for his design of the sleeve for The Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band). The exterior of the bus compliments the interiors installation, with eye popping images from the pop artist’s career. Wish we had this in the states!! God knows our kiddies and adults are in dyre need of a healthy dose of culture instead of another episode of Spongebob or American Idol.
