Bow ties continue to grow in popularity on the runway however they still get mixed reviews on the streets. It could be because the bow tie often connotes a stuffy, prep look and attitude that is oh-too common. With this being the case, designers and labels nowadays are beginning to bring their own interpretation of the bow tie, one that is completely erasing previous views and stereotypes of the classic accessory, and creating one that allows for its wearers individuality and personal style.
This Hackett bow tie is a great example. Instead of a classic solid color design, it features a great plaid pattern that would be great for bringing individual style to a classic tuxedo.
