Last night was the most important and celebrated night in Manhattan society as renown designers, socialites, models, and celebs gathered together at the Costume Institute Gala for the unveiling of the new "American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity" exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Damn that's a mouthful. It's the Met Gala!!! Which gets me completely stoked each year. Baaaaaasically, it's THE night of all nights where fancy kiddos show up in full force with their 'A' game and shut it down in every manner possible and are usually dressed directly by certain designers and then paraded around like little puppets and try to be all cooler than thou. It's kinda like a ridiculously cracked out couture prom frenzy. And of course this year was exactly the awesome fashion spetacle that it always is and in true blogging protocol, I too have chosen my favorite picks of the night because I had nothing better to do for your viewing pleasure. You can thank me for the visual orgasms later. Gracias.
