I've become quite the early riser due to classes this semester and although it wasn't first by choice, I've embraced it. I've even subtracted an hour from my usual alarm clock and head out for a nice beach run around 6 am. I've been finding that I have to stop every once in awhile to take in what awesomeness San Diego holds in it's first few minutes of sunlight of the day. The world truly is something spectacular and I've been trying hard, just like Obama's unrelenting effort to recruit the minorities of the nation and Romney to get the 1% out of their diamond encrusted CEO chairs to vote during the elections, to appreciate it. Morning runs were just the start. Now I get my Marc Jacobie trunks on and go into the ocean for a dip after class, during weekends, and during my hungover bouts (very effective cure, btw!). I even go for 3 hours adventures into neighboring Pacific Beach to hang out with Euro tourists and Navy Military Bro's alike. Since I live at the beach, I should LIVE the beach. I guess where I'm going with this is that you should take advantage of where ever it is that you reside. Hey, you're already trying to sell your hair/ovaries/other body parts to make rent... might as well enjoy the fruits of your hard labor.
