A couple of weeks ago I came across a surge of postings about some menswear creations by the ladies of Rodarte. I wasn't totally impressed and I was kinda sad about it. I mean, I have mad love and respect for the Mulleavy sisters but I expected nothing short of sicktasticness. Alas, I ignored them. But a couple of days ago I actually saw a broseph wearing a cardigan that resembled the same aesthetic as the Rodarte ones and I most definitely digged the crap out of it. So I then decided to give the cleverly dubbed "Brodarte" a second look. After doing some serious zooming at the creations I had a newfound appreciation for them. The haphazardly arranged threads are genius. I love the rugged, deconstructed, worn and torn deal that is going on and I also love the fact that they remind me of the "Where the Wild Things Are" monsters. Nostalgic and creative? Fuck yeah! But what I don't really agree on is their pricetag of $2,670. I think they're awesome and all but, shit, not THAT awesome. Despite this financial major setback, I give them my full approval and I really hope that we get to see more Brodarte pieces soon. Oh, and fairly priced ones for that matter. Gracias.

I need me ALL of these:
Tiger of Sweden S/S 2010 Collection:

Totally diggin' the fuck out of all these threads. All of them are totally worthy of my aesthetic and I'd pounce at the sheer moment of owning each and everyone one of them. It's always legit to see a collection that encompasses many looks (there's a winter day in the city look, casual day to work look, chic night on the town look, and even a debonair fancy pants blazer look, just to name a few) and even more legit when they all make sense and are cohesively connected to one another despite their different purposes. Definitely a great pleasure.

Sisley A/W 09 Collection:
Insanely diggin' the subdued color palette, free flowing casual fits, the undertones of debonairness with a hint of urban appeal- the overall collection is by far one of my recent favorites.

Vintage surf at its best!
Totally diggin' the bright and funky colorway mixed with the vintage surf appeal. Nice to see something that is playful yet chill, simple yet vibrantly bold, and fresh yet vintage- all at the same time. Definitely a line worth rocking.

Bibi Chemnitz Spring 2010 Collection:

I'm insanely infatuated with Bibi Chemnitz Spring 2010 Collection! I don't know what it is that automatically drew me in... was it the way she fused basic pieces with altered lines and silhouettes? Or maybe it was the subdued color palette of soft blues and whites that invigorated me? Or perhaps it was the amazingly comfortable and natural essence flowing from the garments? I don't know, but whatever it was... I'm diggin' it.
