In lieu of Maison Martin Margiela turning 20 this year, the Somerset House in London will be honoring the enigmatic fashion player with a legit retrospective. Expect tons of iconic pieces from various shows, stellar photographs, and never before seen videos. And expect me to not be able to make an appearance. FML. Yup, Rachel Zoe just ate a french fry because of my distraught. It's that serious. But if YOU happen to be in Londontown around June 3rd to September 5th, please make sure to visit the MMM shindig, take pictures, and send it over this way.

Paris, tu est un heart breaker.
If you'll be in Paris during the 18th-22nd of this month, I hate you. Kidding, kidding (no I'm not). No but seriously, I really suggest and hope you guys can head out to the Taiss Gallery at Art Paris in the Le Grand Palais to check out some killer photo's by Simon Procter. How killer? Just check out these babies and imagine them up, close, and personal on a big canvas. Murderous!

Man, what I would do to be in Paris.

Behold: The Vodka of all vodka
I love vodka. There's no doubt about it. So when I read about this godsend, I almost passed out just imagining its euphoric taste. As you can very well read from its glorious portrait above, this baby comes from Iceland and I don't know too much about the land of the ice but I'm pretty sure they know how to get their swerve on thanks too their Norse roots. Supposedly, this concoction is quite possibly the Donald Trump of ALL vodka's in the world because it goes down just like water even at room temperature!! The reason Reyka is heavenly smooth is because it is filtered with lava rocks from dormant volcanoes. Yeah, that's all type of fucking aaamazing! Reyka, you are my new best friend.

Oh, New Zealand!
And guess who had this hilarious billboard commissioned? None other than the Archdeacon of the church behind it!!! Oh the foreign awesomeness!!! But not everyone has gotten the same lolz I got and instead are outraged that something like this would ever grace their über catholic presence. Sweet Baby Jesus says "calm down!" Or at least that's what I picture him saying. People fail to see that Archdeacon Glynn Cardy did this to spark up debate amongst people and not because he's some degenerate douchebag trying to defame God's holy name or something like that.
The Archdeacon described his intentions by saying: "this billboard is trying to lampoon and ridicule the very literal idea that God is a male and somehow this male God impregnated Mary." How insanely thought provoking is that!? I'm totally diggin' his liberal views of Christianity and would do anything to be able to hear one of his sermons. I'd probably get waaaay more out of it than I have had from years of being forced to attend mass as a kid. I'd be all ears for once. I know religion is always a sensitive subject but if we have questions why not ask them? Not everything is set in stone and having religious leaders understand that is something that is much needed in this world because for those of us that are on the fence, we're not alone in our questioning. But alas, not everyone can understand this and unfortunately the billboard was short lived as one disrespectful uptight bore decided to deface it within hours of its unveiling. Who's disrespectful now? Man, can't we all just hang out and drink Jesus juice together?

Prada in Tokyotown:

I would probably spend hours gazing at this piece of modern architecture bliss if I had the chance. I don't know what it is but I just find myself completely transfixed by it. If I ever find myself in Tokyo, I'm for sure making it a priority to stumble (I plan on being ALL types of Saki drunk) my way there and just gaze at it forever... or until my buzz goes away.

Tree-House Restaurant- say whaaat!?

"The Seafood restaurant - NAHA HARBOR DINER - is open on the top of a big Banyan tree near the Naha Port. We have plenty of fresh okinawan ingredients. Enjoy our dishes using farm-fresh vegetables, juicy chickens and porks, shore fishes daily landed and native salts and harbs, relaxing at lunch and viewing the sunset and harbor lights for dinner."

How amazingly ridic is this awesome eatery? Such an innovative concept of architecture and the food just sounds/looks insanely delish, mouthwatering, and orgasmic!!! Plus the views of a killer sunset while chowing down aint too bad either. Just another reason why Japan continues to be sicktastic!!

In love:
How seductively breathtaking is Julia Stegner on Vogue Germany July's cover?!! I seriously think I have fallen in love- talk about love at first sight. I don't even know how to contain myself... I'm officially infatuated with my JuliaBaby. Now if I can only get both Heidi and her to pose together ;)

Kana: THE ultimate Harry Potter fan!!!
So our little Japanese friend Kana won some contest and was flown up to England to meet with the cast of HP. Like any true fan, Kanita went ape crazy when she met up with DanRad and Rupert Grint. Actually... a lil bit too crazy and a lil bit too creeperish- I was concerned for the safety of others due to her seizure-like state and potential Britney Spears level meltdown. Regardless, it made for some pure epic hilarity!
Warning: I pretty much just pissed myself laughing, so be sure to have an extra change of clothes near by (seriously).
Check it out:

New Zealand's Bleeding BillBoard.
Major props to the land of Kiwi's for this bold and creative way to raise awareness for safer driving. We definitely need something like in the States ASAP!!! Seriously. The impact would be so incredibly substantial and vast!
